Zusammenfassung

AltX Financial Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll handle month-end processes, ensure accurate financial records and support decision-making through analysis.

You will own key tasks such as income recognition, journals, treasury and trust accounting, bank reconciliations, and intercompany activities, while collaborating with AltX Operations to drive efficient financial controls.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience in banking or non-bank lending.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Experience with MYOB Advanced and Excel is preferred.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial records as well as supporting decision-making through sound financial analysis. • Analyse financial performance, identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve costs and revenue.
• Partner with operational teams, including AltX Operations, to support investment accounting and business decisions.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve processes to make finance operations more efficient and accurate.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA/CPA or equivalent certification.
• Proven accounting experience, including experience in banking or non-bank lending.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as MYOB Advanced and Microsoft Office.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear communication, a collaborative approach and sound judgement when handling confidential information.
