Level Canberra is expanding its finance team and seeks an Accountant who values structure, accuracy and problem-solving. You’ll oversee AP/AR, cash management and system integrations to keep numbers moving and stakeholders supported.

Qualifications

• Finance/accounting experience with focus on AP/AR and cash flow.
• Strong computer literacy across MS/Google Suite and accounting systems.
• Experience with finance systems integrations and reporting.
• CA/CPA pathway or qualification is advantageous.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process AP/AR transactions and supplier invoices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Finance Operations — Process AP/AR transactions, supplier invoices, credit card reconciliations, and track jobs ready for invoicing.

• Stakeholder & Escalation Management — Resolve AP/AR queries by working directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation — Reconcile cash receipts, manage unallocated funds, input fixed asset disposals, and prepare data for external accountants.

• Systems Management — Support and maintain integrations between Simpro/Service Titan and Xero to ensure clean, accurate financial data.

• Ad‑hoc Analysis — Assist the Finance Manager with projects, investigations, and improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• Degree in finance or similar, CA or CPA qualified is advantageous.

• Strong computer literacy — MS/Google Suite, job management systems (Simpro preferred), and Xero.

• Experience in AP/AR or a similar finance role.

• Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and exceptional attention to detail.

• Confident communication and a customer‑service mindset.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Who You’ll Work With

• Internal: Finance Manager, Accounts Team, operational leaders, customer service/operations teams.

• External: Vendors/suppliers, clients, and the company’s external accounting firm.
