Job summary

Seven Media Group invites a driven Sales Executive to join our Rockhampton team. You will open doors, build relationships and convert client challenges into effective media solutions, reporting to the Group Sales Manager and developing new business across the Rockhampton market.

This field-focused role collaborates with local and national teams to build a high-quality sales pipeline and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue across TV, audio, radio, digital and production products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow client relationships.
• Strong persistence and self-motivation to build a portfolio from scratch.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Experience in sales or business development; media/advertising experience is a plus.
• Ability to translate client needs into practical, tailored media solutions.
• Clear goals, high standards, and ability to work independently within a team.

About the role

We’re looking for a driven Sales Executive who thrives on opening doors, building relationships and turning client challenges into effective media solutions. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of developing new business while growing strong, long-term partnerships across the Rockhampton market.

This is a field-focused role supported by collaborative local and national teams, giving you the tools, brands and expertise to build a high-quality sales pipeline and convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.

What you’ll do

What you’ll need

• A genuine new-business-development mindset, with persistence, self-motivation and the confidence to build a portfolio from the ground up.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in sales, business development or client account service; media or advertising experience is advantageous but not essential.
• The ability to identify client needs and translate them into practical, tailored solutions.
• Clear goals, high standards and the ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
• A current driver licence and access to a vehicle.
