Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an Accommodation Team Leader to supervise Youth Development Coaches and support young people in tenancy maintenance and life skills. Based in Chippendale, you’ll partner with housing providers to address tenancy matters and education, while building relationships with community services.

Qualifications

• Two years of leadership experience with staff supervision and coaching toward independent living.
• Strong networking and stakeholder engagement with housing providers and community organisations.
• Experience in a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework with Advantaged Thinking.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills including rostering and case documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Youth Development Coaches who support young people.
• Support young people's independence, tenancy maintenance and life skills.
• Liaise with St George Community Housing on tenancy matters, arrears and room checks.
• Respond to crises and participate in the on-call roster every 6 weeks.
• Engage with housing providers, real estate agents and community services.
• Oversee documentation, audits, and rostering for YDCs.
