The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia’s most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‑term conservation.
We're seeking an experienced and adaptable Accommodation Relief Manager to provide short‑term management support across GORCAPA's accommodation portfolio along the iconic Great Ocean Road.
This is a casual position expected to run for approximately three months, with the potential to be extended based on business needs. While casual in nature, the role is expected to work approximately full‑time hours throughout the assignment.
The position will work across a range of our caravan parks, recreation reserves and accommodation sites, stepping in where operational support is required. As a result, travel between locations will be required and, where operationally necessary, accommodation support may be provided when working away from your primary residence.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast‑paced accommodation environments and can quickly build strong relationships with staff, guests and local communities.
The role involves a rotating roster that includes weekend work, public holidays and occasional after‑hours call‑outs. Relevant penalty rates and allowances apply, and a mobile phone will be provided.
You will be an experienced hospitality or accommodation professional who can confidently step into new environments and maintain high operational standards.
A current driver's licence and the ability to travel between sites is essential.
Everyone is welcome at the Authority.
Here at the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority we are committed to creating a workforce that is diverse and is inclusive of all. We value and embrace the various experiences and perspectives people may have, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, cultural background, disability, or sexual orientation.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live and all First Nations peoples, and we pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
