Job summary

TJM Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Accessory Fitter or a mechanically minded person to join our workshop team in Toowoomba. You will fit and install premium 4WD accessories across a range of vehicles, supported by experienced technicians in a quality-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have accessory fitting experience, strong mechanical skills, and a can-do attitude. A current driver’s license is required, and 4WD enthusiasts are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous accessory fitting experience (highly regarded).
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools.
• Automotive, mechanical or trade background.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install a variety of premium 4WD and vehicle accessories as part of the workshop team.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same. You'll be fitting and installing a variety of premium 4WD and vehicle accessories including:

• Bull Bars
• Side Steps & Rails
• Canopies & Trays
• Tow Bars
• Suspension Upgrades
• Driving Lights & Electrical Accessories
• UHF Radios & Communications Equipment
• Roof Racks & Storage Solutions
• General Vehicle Enhancements

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality results every time.

What We're Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

Previous accessory fitting experience (highly regarded)

Mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools

Automotive, mechanical or trade background

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team

Pride in producing quality workmanship

Current driver’s licence

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
