Job summary

EF International Language Centers – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an enthusiastic Academic Coordinator to join our Academic team. The role supports day-to-day operations, coordinates classes, assessments, and reporting while ensuring an outstanding learning experience for students.

We value organised, proactive individuals who can work in a fast-paced, international environment and collaborate with teachers, students, and the broader school team. Teaching English may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Administration, Languages, Business, or a related field.
• TESOL qualification (e.g. CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL) is required or desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Flexible and adaptable approach with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Academic team.
• Assist with scheduling classes, examinations, meetings and academic events.
• Maintain attendance records, student files, and academic documentation.
• Act as a key point of contact between students, teachers and school administration.
• Support student assessments, exam administration, result collection and reporting.
• Respond to student enquiries regarding academic progress and timetables.
• Teach English classes when required.
