Community Restorative Centre Ltd. in Broken Hill seeks a Transition Worker Aboriginal Identified to provide holistic, trauma-informed outreach for First Nations people with complex needs.

The role supports pre- and post-release through a throughcare model and helps clients reconnect with culture and community. Based in Broken Hill with travel to Wilcannia and Menindee, the position is full-time (38 hours/week) with a contract to 30 June 2028 and additional Christmas/New Year leave.

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Experience and/or qualifications in intensive outreach case management for complex needs.
• Demonstrated cultural competency with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• NSW Working with Children Check and criminal record check requirements.

Responsabilités

• Deliver holistic, intensive outreach case work to First Nations people with complex needs.
• Provide throughcare pre- and post-release support and connect clients to culture and community.
• Travel to Broken Hill, Wilcannia and Menindee as required.
