Job summary

Legal Aid NSW invites applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people for a temporary full-time role focused on respectful workplace support. The role requires Aboriginal identity and community acceptance to ensure culturally safe services and strong relationships across offices in NSW.

You will contribute to prevention, education and early support, using lived experience to shape practical solutions and strengthen workplace safety and inclusion across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Applicants for this role must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
• Be willing to travel to regional and metropolitan offices as required.
• Undertake pre-employment checks such as Working with Children Check, Criminal Record Check and Conduct Service Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally safe, confidential support to employees and leaders, strengthening respectful workplace behaviours.
• Apply Aboriginal lived experience and cultural knowledge to inform service design and delivery.
• Build trusted relationships and navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
