Job summary

BDAC is seeking a Safety and Response Case Support Worker to join the Family Safety Team. The role supports Specialist Family Violence Practitioners, handling administrative, practical and client-focused tasks to ensure responsive services.

The position requires Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status, with a fixed-term 12-month contract and salary in the $70,000–$80,000 range plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• Mandatory qualification in Community Services, Social Work or related field.
• Experience with Aboriginal community services preferred.
• Police/Working with Children checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Specialist Family Violence Practitioners and other Family Safety and Healing programs.
• Assist Practitioners to provide client-facing and practical support to survivors of family violence.
• Attend meetings and support meeting minutes and action tracking.
• Provide outreach, home visits and transportation assistance to families as needed.
• Monitor and administer Flexible Support Packages (FSP) portal and applications.
• Maintain accurate case records in line with legislative requirements and privacy policies.
