Job summary

Empire Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-profile infrastructure program across Queensland. You will oversee planning, governance and delivery of complex projects, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring safe, reliable outcomes for public infrastructure.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage project finances, procurement, risk and reporting, while building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in project and/or program management.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering outcomes in complex project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and solve complex problems.
  • Experience preparing project documentation, executive reports, briefings and presentations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of complex infrastructure projects and program activities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, reports, submissions, decision briefs and governance documentation.
  • Prepare high-quality project correspondence and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage project finances, procurement, governance and administration activities.
  • Oversee contract performance and provide advice on contractual matters to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Identify, assess and resolve project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Provide strategic and operational advice to support project delivery and investment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, frameworks and governance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support a positive team culture focused on collaboration, innovation and successful project delivery.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure program delivering critical transport outcomes across Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the leadership, management and coordination of complex projects that will support the delivery of safe, reliable and future-focused public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to senior program leadership, you will:

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of complex infrastructure projects and program activities.

About You
