Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure rectification program across Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. You will provide client-side project management across investigation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and project close-out activities.

The successful candidate will oversee a 12-month contract with a view to extension, based in Brisbane, QLD.

Qualifications

• Experience leading client-side project management across major infrastructure programs.
• Strong understanding of procurement, tendering, and contract management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex maintenance and infrastructure rectification projects from initiation to close-out.
• Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, risks and project controls.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure rectification program across Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. You will provide client-side project management across investigation, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and project close-out activities.

The successful Project Manager will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, based in Brisbane, QLD.

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage complex maintenance and construction projects from planning to completion.


• Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, risks and project controls.


• Lead procurement, tendering, contract establishment and contractor management.


• Coordinate stakeholders, site activities, assurance, commissioning and handover.

The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:

• Client-side project and contract management across major infrastructure projects.


• Managing multiple construction, maintenance and/or engineering contracts.


• Government procurement, tendering and contract management processes.


• Stakeholder engagement, risk, safety and environmental management.
