Job summary

Hilton on the Gold Coast is seeking an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team. You will contribute to high food standards, assist with food preparation, and help maintain a clean, efficient workspace while embracing Hilton's renowned training and travel perks.

You will be supported through Hilton University and a structured apprenticeship, with opportunities for career development and discounts on hotel stays and products across Hilton outlets.

Qualifications

• Previous Apprentice chef experience.
• Confident communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
• Ability to work within a team.

Responsibilities

In your new role as Apprentice Chef, you will utilise your creative flair and passion for food and will be responsible for performing the following tasks;

• Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high food standards and the delivery of an exceptional guest experience
• Managing and maintaining a clean working environment
• Ensuring the reduction of food wastage
• Assisting the team with general food preparation
• Ensuring correct handling and storage of all food products
