Talent Blueprint Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the team as second-in-command, providing technical leadership across geotechnical investigations, slope stability, earthworks design and pile foundations.

You will mentor junior engineers, liaise with clients including Transport and Main Roads, and drive quality assurance on major infrastructure projects, with the opportunity to shape technical direction and grow a developing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading geotechnical projects for major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of slope stability and earthworks design.
• Experience with pile and foundation design and Design & Construct (D&C) delivery.
• Excellent client liaison and reporting skills.
• RPEQ accreditation is highly regarded.

An established and growing specialist consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Brisbane team in a key technical leadership position.

As the team's second-in-command, you'll play a key role in project delivery, technical leadership and mentoring, helping bridge the gap between senior leadership and a growing team of developing engineers.

Suited to an experienced geotechnical engineer who enjoys staying close to the technical work, this opportunity offers the chance to deliver major infrastructure projects without the layers of bureaucracy often associated with larger organisations. About the Role

You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, providing technical leadership across:

• Geotechnical investigations and assessments
• Slope stability and stabilisation design
• Earthworks design and construction support
• Pile and foundation design
• Retaining structures and ground improvement solutions
• Construction phase support and contractor liaison
• Technical review and quality assurance
• Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers

The role will involve regular interaction with key public and private sector clients, including direct liaison with Transport and Main Roads and major civil infrastructure stakeholders.

About You

You are a technically strong geotechnical engineerdelivering civil infrastructure projects across Queensland.

• Experience in slope stability and geotechnical stabilisation
• Strong capability in earthworks design and construction support
• Experience with pile and foundation design
• Exposure to Design & Construct (D&C) project delivery environments
• Proven experience liaising directly with TMR and other infrastructure stakeholders
• The ability to lead projects while mentoring junior and intermediate engineers
• Strong client management, communication and technical reporting skills
• RPEQ accreditation highly regarded
