Job summary

Pub Mooloolaba is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager to support the Venue Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment on the Sunshine Coast.

You will share shift loads, mentor junior supervisors, and help drive floor strategy and standards across all departments, including gaming and functions. A 2IC mindset and strong people skills are essential for delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Senior Assistant Manager, 2IC, or high-level supervisory role within a high-volume pub, tavern, or hotel.
• You’ve got the RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Step up as second-in-charge (2IC), running high-volume shifts while working alongside fellow Assistant Managers across all operational departments.
• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
