Job summary

Oxford 152, part of ALH Hotels, is seeking an Assistant Manager to run the floor in a fast-paced pub in Bulimba. You will work with a team of assistant managers to share shifts, drive standards, and deliver top service across bar, dining, and gaming areas.

This hands-on role requires physical tasks, strong people skills, RSA/RSG, RMLV and approved licences. You’ll lead during busy periods, coach staff, and help create a great vibe for guests while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with physical tasks and safe lifting.
• Experience supervising in bar/bistro/gaming environments.
• RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.
• Ability to engage locals and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Support floor operations across bar, dining, and gaming areas.
• Share shift load with multiple Assistant Managers to maintain throughput and service levels.
• Drive standards and guest experience through coaching and teamwork.
• Handle issues on the floor before they escalate and maintain a great vibe.
• Lead by example to ensure safety and compliance during busy periods.
