Job summary

Dynamo Fitness Equipment – Keysborough VIC in Melbourne is seeking an experienced 2IC Sales Representative to support the Store Manager and lead a motivated team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will drive sales performance, manage stock and merchandising, oversee day-to-day store operations, and mentor staff with an uncapped commission structure and a clear pathway to Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail leadership, supervisory, team leader or assistant management role, or 4 years' retail experience.
• Strong sales skills with a proven ability to achieve targets and deliver results.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example, take initiative and support team performance.
• Sound understanding of retail operations, stock control and inventory management.
• Proficient ability to use inventory management and POS software.
• Demonstrated high-level analytical, problem-solving, organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and sales outcomes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and team members across all business functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Retail Store Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the Keysborough store.
• Assist in maintaining store presentation, cleanliness, merchandising standards and operational excellence.
• Help oversee inventory levels, product flow and stock accuracy while supporting warehouse and logistics processes.
• Assist with implementing retail store strategies designed to increase store traffic, customer engagement and profitability.
• Maintain a high-level customer service culture validated through customer reviews and service outcomes.
• Support and motivate the team to achieve monthly site objectives, sales targets and KPI outcomes.
• Assist with inventory management and liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure stock availability and accurate inventory records.
• Support the achievement of store financial and operational objectives, including expense control, loss prevention and promotion execution.
• Assist with workforce planning, rostering and staffing requirements to ensure operational efficiency and labour targets are achieved.
• Confidently manage customer enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in the coaching, training and development of team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure customer correspondence, enquiries and tickets are actioned within required Service Level Agreements.
• Support effective team communication through task allocation, follow-up and accountability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation of business development initiatives.
• Confidently provide and follow up quotations, identify sales opportunities and assist in closing sales.
• Act as Store Manager during periods of leave or absence, ensuring continuity of operations and leadership.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2IC Sales Representative to join our passionate, committed and tenacious team at our premium Keysborough Store in Melbourne, Vic.

This role is ideal for an emerging retail leader looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Retail Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of store operations while developing the leadership, operational and commercial skills required to progress into a Store Manager position within our growing organisation.

Selection Criteria
