Job summary

Bayblue Management is seeking a hands-on bottle shop manager/associate to oversee daily operations, stock control, and customer service.

The role requires energy, wine knowledge, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships to increase revenue. Flexible, long-term commitment and reliable transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in organizing day-to-day bottle shop operations and money handling.
• Strong product knowledge, including wine, with ability to upsell.
• Flexible, energetic, and capable of building customer relationships to drive revenue.
• Able to work in a team and cross-train with the Shop Manager.
• Stock ordering and stock taking experience; valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bottle shop operations and customer service.
• Oversee stock orders and regular stock takes.
• Contribute to revenue growth through selling wine and other products.
• Collaborate with team and Shop Manager; work varied shifts.

MUST HAVE:

• Experience in organizing and managing the day to day operations of a busy bottle shop with good money handling skills, good product knowledge (including a love of and ability to sell wine).
• Must have a current RSA and good attention to detail.
• Must be a flexible, keen, innovative and a willing worker with high energy and drive to develop good customer relationships and increase revenue.
• Must be able to work in team environment alongside the current Shop Manager.
• Must have experience in stock ordering and stock taking procedures.
• Must have a current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Experience withFinchcorp IControlstock system would be an advantage, but not essential.
• You must be able to maintain good customer service and give them an unforgettable experience.
