Job summary

QuickCare in North West Sydney is seeking an Assistant Coordinator / 2IC for our Exceeding-rated OOSH service. You will learn from the Coordinator, shape our programme, and grow into a leadership role.

You will lead daily operations, mentor educators, co-design child-led activities, and foster connections with families and local schools. If you're energetic, have leadership experience in OOSH or ECE, hold a Diploma in Children's Services and a valid NSW Working With Children Check, we'd love to

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in OOSH or ECE.
• NSW Working With Children Check.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Child protection training.
• Energetic with a sense of humour and love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Support the Coordinator to lead daily operations of before/after school and vacation care.
• Mentor and guide a team of educators.
• Co-design engaging, child-led programmes.
• Build warm relationships with children, families and schools.
• Step up to lead the service when Coordinator is away.
• Help raise quality, compliance and practice.
