Job summary

QuickCare is partnering with a well-established Outside School Hours Care (OOSH) service in Campbelltown to appoint a capable Second in Charge (2IC). This part-time role covers Monday to Wednesday afternoon sessions (9.5 hours per week) with potential for growth and additional hours during Vacation Care.

You will support the Coordinator, mentor educators on the floor, and step in when the Coordinator is away, leading a safe, engaging program aligned with the National Quality Framework and the My

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in OOSH or children’s services.
• ACECQA-approved qualification, or currently pursuing.
• NSW Working With Children Check (paid).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing, play and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Coordinator with daily operations, including staffing, programming and compliance with the National Quality Framework
• Lead and mentor educators on the floor and oversee the service when the Coordinator is away
• Plan and run engaging activities that reflect children’s interests and the My Time, Our Place framework
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the school community
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for every child
