Job summary

Metro Trains Sydney is hiring Customer Journey Coordinators – Stations (CJC-S) to join our Customer Operations team across Southwest stations from Sydenham to Bankstown. The role focuses on delivering safe, courteous passenger experiences and supporting the movement of people on a busy railway network.

You will work rotating 12-hour shifts, including early starts, nights, weekends and holidays in a permanent full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and adaptable with strong safety commitment.
• Clear communication, calm under pressure, dependable service in fast-paced environments.
• Able to work independently and in a team, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and enhance the end-to-end customer journey within station environments.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and assist with enquiries and wayfinding.
• Support daily station operations, ensuring readiness, cleanliness and functionality.
• Manage customer flow, especially during peak periods and events.
• Respond to incidents and disruptions with real-time information and clear communication.
• Maintain safety, accessibility and operational standards.
