The Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, NSW, part of SESLHD, seeks an Admissions Officer to support enquiries, patient bookings, admission and discharge, and 24/7 financial assistance. The role rotates through Cashier, Switchboard and Admissions Officer to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will work in a patient‑centred team, applying guidelines and policies, and using Microsoft Office and iPM. The position offers salary packaging, up to 12 extra days off, Fitness Passport, EAP and discounted

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a flexible roster in a 24‑hour department.
• Ability to interpret and apply policy, guidelines and local operating procedures.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem solving in a customer service environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and iPM.
• Attention to detail and task prioritisation.
• Previous cash handling experience and willingness to discuss insurance coverage and payment of invoices.
