Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres Laverton (Daimler Trucks Laverton) invites motivated individuals to join as Apprentice Technicians or Apprentice Auto Electricians in 2027. You’ll pursue either Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Automotive Electrical Technology, earning a nationally recognised Certificate III while gaining hands-on experience with Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Complete a 4-year apprenticeship while earning a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification in either Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology orAutomotive Electrical Technology
• Gain hands‑on experience working on American, Japanese and European light and heavy vehicles
• Support qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Learn and follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices
• Maintain a safe, organised and tidy workspace
• Work alongside experienced technicians and service teams while developing your technical skills
