Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres is seeking an Apprentice Technician at our Eagle Farm dealership to start a four-year Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology apprenticeship. You will learn on American, Japanese and European vehicles while supporting seasoned technicians.

The program includes full TAFE funding, a brand-new toolkit, uniforms, and access to world-class training on Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso brands. Interstate learning opportunities and long-term career growth await.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4-year apprenticeship while earning a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification in a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Gain hands-on experience working on American, Japanese and European light and heavy vehicles
• Support qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Learn and follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices
• Maintain a safe, organised and tidy workspace
• Work alongside experienced technicians and service teams while developing your technical skills
