Job summary

Velocity Truck Centre is seeking an Apprentice Technician for our Eagle Farm dealership in 2027, offering a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Apprenticeship with pathways at Daimler Trucks Eagle Farm.

You’ll complete a 4-year program while earning a Certificate III, gaining hands-on experience on American, Japanese and European vehicles, and learning from experienced technicians in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Interest in automotive industry and vehicles
• Enthusiasm for Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Has or is willing to obtain a manual driver’s licence

Responsibilities

• Complete a 4-year apprenticeship while earning a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification in a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Gain hands-on experience working on American, Japanese and European light and heavy vehicles
• Support qualified technicians with servicing, diagnostics and repairs
• Learn and follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices
• Maintain a safe, organised and tidy workspace
• Work alongside experienced technicians and service teams while developing your technical skills
