Job summary

Discover Nursing Australia is seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 high-intensity and complex disability support in Wyelangta, VIC. You will follow participant-specific care plans, work with a Registered Nurse, and escalate clinical concerns as needed.

The role requires experience with high-intensity supports, calm handling of emergencies, and meticulous documentation. A flexible shift pattern and contractor arrangement offer autonomy within a supportive nurse-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-intensity or complex disability support.
• Calm, observant and capable under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual and professional with 1:1 support.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-intensity personal care and daily living support.
• Perform complex continence and PEG-related support as needed.
• Follow care plans and emergency procedures, escalating to RN when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Support participant participation and community access.
