Job summary

Kyndryl in Austria seeks a Systems Management Specialist to ensure reliable IT infrastructure for our customers. You will size and optimize systems, troubleshoot critical incidents, and contribute to security, change management, and performance improvements across IBM WebSphere environments.

Youll work in a hybrid setup, collaborate with global IT professionals, and develop your skills through cutting-edge training and projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in system management, network administration, and technical support.
• Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, or Unix operating systems, networks, and software systems.
• Familiarity with cyber security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management, IT security architecture, risk management, cyber threat hunting, and cyber security standards.
• Expertise in data warehousing, database administration and design, data quality, data modeling, data architecture, and various programming languages.
• Proficient knowledge of network routing and switching, network troubleshooting, engineering and infrastructure, load balancing, and VPN.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, particularly Traditional WebSphere and WebSphere Liberty.
• Installation, configuration, administration, patching, and upgrading of WebSphere environments.
• Deployment and support of Java/Jakarta EE applications, including EAR, WAR, and JAR packages.
• Experience with IBM Installation Manager, fix packs, interim fixes, and version migrations.
• Fluent English and German skills.
