From analyzing issues and testing solutions to automating processes and integrating across platforms, your work will touch every layer of IT infrastructure. What you will do

Analyze and Solve

• Diagnose complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments and systems to identify root causes.
• Recommend solutions that balance technical feasibility, timelines and customer priorities.
• Test, refine and automate processes to improve reliability, efficiency and repeatability.
• Assess risks proactively and implement strategies to prevent disruptions.

Design and Integrate

• Plan end-to-end infrastructure solutions across platforms and technologies.
• Integrate systems in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments to ensure seamless operation.
• Automate workflows and processes to streamline delivery and reduce errors.
• Document architectures and procedures for hand‑offs, knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Collaborate and Deliver

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Architects, Project Managers and Technicians.
• Drive project delivery from initiation to completion with attention to quality and timelines.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Build customer confidence by delivering tangible, high-impact results.

Grow and Advance

• Expand technical expertise across cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems and emerging technologies.
• Earn certifications and qualifications while applying them on real projects.
• Pursue career paths toward Architect or Distinguished Engineer roles.

Who You Are Required skills and experience

• Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Enterprise IT application experience.
• Hands‑on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows.
• Fluent English and German.

Preferred skills and experience

• Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience in Windows Server, AD, DNS, GPO, PKI, RDS, VMware Cloud Foundation, Veeam, MSSQL, IIS, CheckMK, Graylog, PowerShell and Python.

The minimum yearly salary suitable for this full-time role as a Senior Systems Engineer Infrastructure is €74,200. Your actual salary will be discussed in a personal interview, taking into account your professional experience as well as qualifications and educational background. As this role is dedicated to supporting our customers in Austria a valid work permission is a prerequisite for this opportunity.
