Tieto Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Web Accessibility Tester to help make websites and mobile apps more accessible, intuitive and inclusive. You will combine technical testing with practical consulting and work with international project teams to translate accessibility requirements into better digital experiences.

Responsibilities include conducting accessibility audits, translating findings into reports, advising on technical solutions, and collaborating from concept through implementation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with accessibility testing using screen readers and auditing tools.
• Hands-on use of assistive technologies, such as screen readers.
• Knowledge of WCAG, EN 301 549 or PDF/UA.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript.
• Proficient German and English communication.

Job Description

Digital accessibility means creating technology that works for everyone. As a Web Accessibility Tester at Tieto Tech Consulting, you help make websites and mobile applications more accessible, intuitive and inclusive. You combine technical testing with practical consulting and work closely with international project teams to turn accessibility requirements into better digital experiences.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Web Accessibility Tester, you

• Conduct accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps usingappropriate testingmethods and tools

• Translate findings into clear, practical accessibility reports and recommendations

• Experience with accessibility testing, for example screen readers, browser-basedtestingor auditing tools as well as developing accessible websites,appsor documents

• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies, such as screen readers

• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript

• Interest in user experience and usability

• Professional working proficiency in German and English, enabling you to confidently communicate with customers and project teams

The monthly gross salary for this position will start from € 3.954,00 (based on IT collective agreement, ST1 Regelstufe) on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide you with a salary package that is both competitive and reflective of your relevant experience, while also aligning with current market standards.
