Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Web Accessibility Tester to help make websites and mobile applications more accessible, intuitive, and inclusive. You will combine technical testing with practical consulting and work with international project teams to translate accessibility requirements into better digital experiences.

We offer a flexible hybrid work model across Austria, with collaboration from Vienna, Linz, and Graz teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with accessibility testing using screen readers/browsers and auditing tools.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG, EN 301 549, or PDF/UA.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.
• Precise, structured and reliable working style.
• Curiosity and initiative to drive improvements.

Aufgaben

• Conduct accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps using appropriate testing methods and tools.
• Translate findings into clear, practical accessibility reports and recommendations.

Job Description

Digital accessibility means creating technology that works for everyone. As a Web Accessibility Tester at Tieto Tech Consulting, you help make websites and mobile applications more accessible, intuitive and inclusive. You combine technical testing with practical consulting and work closely with international project teams to turn accessibility requirements into better digital experiences.

When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as a Web Accessibility Tester, you

• Conduct accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps using appropriate testing methods and tools
• Translate findings into clear, practical accessibility reports and recommendations
• Advise project teams and customers on technical solutions that support accessible digital experiences
• Collaborate with local and international teams from initial concepts through implementation
• Contribute your perspective to future-oriented projects and help strengthen accessibility expertise within the team

The monthly gross salary for this position will start from € 3.954,00 (based on IT collective agreement, ST1 Regelstufe) on a full-time basis, depending on your qualifications and experience. Our aim is to provide you with a salary package that is both competitive and reflective of your relevant experience, while also aligning with current market standards.
