Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Web Accessibility Tester to help make websites and mobile apps more accessible, intuitive, and inclusive. You will work with international project teams to translate accessibility requirements into practical improvements.

You will audit, report on findings, and advise on technical solutions, collaborating from concept to implementation. Proficiency in German and English, and a meticulous, proactive mindset, are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with accessibility testing, including screen readers, browser-based testing or auditing tools and building accessible websites, apps or documents.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG, EN 301 549 or PDF/UA.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 or JavaScript.
• Interest in user experience and usability.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.
• A precise, structured and reliable way of working.
• Curiosity, open mindset and initiative to drive improvements.

Aufgaben

• Conduct accessibility audits of websites and mobile apps using appropriate testing methods and tools.
• Translate findings into clear, practical accessibility reports and recommendations.
• Advise project teams and customers on technical solutions that support accessible digital experiences.
• Collaborate with local and international teams from initial concepts through implementation.
• Contribute your perspective to future-oriented projects and strengthen accessibility expertise within the team.
