BESTSELLER Region East invites a Retail Leasing & Portfolio Specialist to join the Expansion team in Vienna. The role covers review of lease agreements, portfolio management, and driving contract-based opportunities across Austria and CEE.

You will work with landlords and internal teams to negotiate, monitor terms, and identify optimization opportunities. The position offers a full-time, 38.5-hour work week in Vienna with clear development potential.

Qualifikationen

• Initial experience in Commercial Real Estate, Leasing, Contract Management, Asset Management, Retail, or a related area
• Education in Business Law, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• Strong interest in commercial contracts, real estate, and retail
• Ability to understand details while keeping the commercial perspective in mind
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Structured, accurate, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Confidence to challenge existing solutions and make recommendations
• Willingness to take increasing ownership and responsibility
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken
• Interest in working across countries, cultures, and markets

Aufgaben

• Review lease agreements, amendments, side letters, and related documents
• Identify contractual and commercial risks, opportunities, and deviations
• Ensure agreed commercial terms are accurately reflected in contracts
• Coordinate contractual topics with landlords and internal stakeholders
• Support the negotiation and finalization of new lease agreements
• Monitor lease terms, notice periods, break options, extensions, and key milestones
• Identify locations requiring contractual, commercial, or strategic action
• Analyze lease conditions and identify portfolio optimization opportunities
• Prepare recommendations for extensions, renegotiations, relocations, or closures
• Maintain an overview of portfolio risks, opportunities, and upcoming decisions
• Collaborate with Expansion, Retail, Finance, Legal, Construction, and other functions
• Build relationships with landlords and gradually take ownership of selected negotiations
