Atome is seeking a Senior Custody Operations Lead in Vienna to design and monitor 1:1 segregation between client crypto-assets and the company’s assets, ensuring compliance with MiCA and robust safeguarding protocols.

You will collaborate with Legal/Compliance to insulate client assets from insolvency risks, oversee storage governance, and lead the PoR program to build trust with European users. Fluency in English and German is essential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Custody Operations, Digital Asset Security, or Financial Safeguarding within a regulated crypto exchange, custodian, or financial institution.
• In-depth understanding of MiCA and European standards for the custody of financial instruments.
• Deep understanding of blockchain mechanics, HSM, MPC technology, and multi-signature wallet architectures.
• Professional fluency in English and German (essential for technical documentation and regulatory reporting in Austria).
• An uncompromising commitment to accuracy and security; a 'zero-error' mindset is required for this role.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria.

Aufgaben

• Design and monitor operational workflows ensuring 1:1 segregation between client crypto-assets and BingX EU’s assets.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to insulate client assets from liabilities in insolvency scenarios.
• Develop and maintain the Custody and Safeguarding Policy to meet regulator standards.
• Oversee governance of hot, warm, and cold storage; implement and audit Multi-Sig and MPC protocols.
• Manage lifecycle of cryptographic keys with secure generation, storage, and backup.
• Review and authorize large-scale asset movements in line with internal controls and client instructions.
• Establish daily reconciliation procedures for internal ledgers vs. on-chain balances.
• Serve as primary stakeholder for external auditors/regulators on asset existence and safeguarding.
• Oversee the PoR program to enhance transparency for European users.
