Job summary

Carousel Logistics GmbH in Vienna seeks Freight Forwarding Clerks (m/f/d) to join our team with immediate effect. You will decide optimal carrier solutions, book orders, plan routes, and coordinate load planning and ADR paperwork while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, experience with ERP/TMS/SAP, and fluency in English and German; a third language is a plus. The role offers a full-time position in an international environment with diverse duties.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Excel and experience with ERP systems, TMS, or SAP.
• Knowledge of local and international transport laws and tachograph rules.
• Excellent problem-solving, geographical awareness, and multi-tasking under deadlines.
• Education or study in logistics and transport management; experience as dispatcher or transport planner.
• English and German language skills are mandatory; a third language is a plus.

Your daily tasks

• Decide best carrier & transport solution per order & country
• Book & organise all orders
• Create route planning + dispatch partners
• Create load planning + submit to warehouses
• Execute milkruns
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, creation & checking of ADR paperwork, general customer service
• Manual tracking updates & POD in client system
• Checking costs, logging transports + prepare invoicing
• Check partner invoices

Your Profile

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or SAP.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of local and international transport laws, loading limits, and driver rest-time regulations (such as tachograph rules).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, geographical awareness, multi-tasking, and clear communication under tight deadlines.
• Education: Training or study in logistics and transport management. Job experience as customer service agent, transport planer/manger or dispatcher in the logistics environment. Experience with ADR shipments preferred.
• English and German language skills are mandatory
• A third language skills e.g. French are a plus
