Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom AG in Vienna seeks a System Engineer to design, plan, and own requirement engineering for toll collection and telematic systems. You will drive functional analysis and coordinate with customers, project teams and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of system engineering experience, and fluent English and German.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in system engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, telematics or similar.
At least 3 years system engineering experience in a professional environment.
Experience in electronic toll collection or telematics preferred.
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Design, planning, execution and ownership of requirement engineering for toll collection systems.
Functional analysis and architecture including system functions, interfaces and boundaries.
Definition and creation of Scope of Works for potential subcontractors.
Collaborate with project managers to provide estimations and develop an overall implementation solution plan.
Coordinate with customers and technical stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
