Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a Test Engineer to join our DACH-focused team, contributing across the testing lifecycle from manual to automated testing and API validation. You’ll help integrate tests into CI/CD and explore AI-driven QA approaches.

Key requirements include ISTQB Foundation Level, strong German (C1), and experience with performance testing, containers, and cloud environments. We offer flexible hybrid work and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience, manual and automated.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification required; Advanced level is a plus.
• Structured, proactive, and practical mindset.
• Experience with performance/load testing and container/cloud environments.
• Testing of event streams, message validation and non-functional testing.
• Test Environment Management and service virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Design, perform and document manual tests focused on user needs and quality.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated end-to-end tests across boundaries.
• Carry out interface and API tests and translate findings into insights.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Explore meaningful uses of AI in testing.
