Job summary

Tieto Tech Consulting seeks a Test Engineer to join our DACH team in a role combining manual, automated, API testing and AI-enabled QA. You will help build reliable digital solutions across cloud environments, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Required are hands-on testing skills, ISTQB Foundation Level, German language at C1, and experience with OpenShift/Azure. Hybrid work options and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing experience (manual and automated).
• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Experience with container environments and cloud (OpenShift, Azure).
• Experience in testing of event streams and non-functional testing (failover, monitoring).
• Strong German communication skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, perform and document manual tests with focus on user needs and software quality.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated end-to-end tests across system boundaries.
• Carry out interface and API tests and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Explore meaningful uses of AI in testing.
