Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor equipment engineering.
• Fluent in German and English; willing to travel ~10% worldwide.

You work where complex systems, software and customer requirements come together. As a System Engineer Customer Solutions, you commission systems worldwide, analyse issues, define solutions and translate customer needs into robust and practical applications. A role for engineers who take ownership, enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and want to make a visible impact.

What you will be doing

• Bring systems to life: you support installation teams and customers during commissioning and system handovers
• Solve problems sustainably: you analyse and resolve software and hardware issues at system level, both internally and directly at customer sites
• Translate requirements: you specify customer needs and system requirements and contribute them to product management
• Ensure quality: you define tests and qualify system software and new system components from an end-user perspective
• Structure knowledge: you maintain technical system documentation and coordinate technical topics across service, engineering and product management

What you should bring

• Technical background: you hold a degree or technical qualification at Bachelor level (HF, FH, ETH or equivalent) in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
• Industry experience: ideally, you bring 2 to 3 years of experience in vacuum technology, the semiconductor industry or equipment engineering
• Hands-on mindset: you work independently, focus on solutions and remain persistent when dealing with complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills: you confidently interact with customers and internal stakeholders
• Languages and mobility: you are fluent in German and English and willing to travel approximately 10% worldwide
