NXP Semiconductors NV in Gratkorn is seeking a student software developer to join our Toolchain team. You’ll work with Java, Python, C and C++ on real engineering tasks and gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned engineers in an international environment.

This part-time role (~20 hours/week) involves building, testing and debugging tool components, supporting automation with Jenkins, and creating technical documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Software Development, Mathematics, or a related field
• Good programming skills in Java and C/C++
• First experience with Eclipse, Python, C#, LLVM/compilers, Git, SVN and/or Jenkins is a plus
• Good spoken and written English
• An independent, structured and accurate way of working
• Motivation to take initiative, learn and adapt in a dynamic technical environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid work authorization required
• Availability of approximately 20 hours per week

This part-time position is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on software development experience in parallel to your studies in the greater Graz area.

You’ll work with different programming languages and technologies, contribute to real engineering tasks, and develop your technical skills in an international environment.

Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.800,- gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
