Zusammenfassung

GATX Rail Europe is seeking a Network Development Senior Expert to strengthen strategic and operational development of its European workshop network. You will lead transformation initiatives, shape future network concepts and drive supplier development from concept to execution.

The role combines hands-on execution with ownership of governance frameworks, KPI definitions and cross-functional collaboration to improve performance and resilience. Travel internationally as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Evidence of strong analytical capabilities and structured problem solving.
• Proficient in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Experience driving cross-functional projects and supplier development.

Aufgaben

• Lead future-proof network transformation by challenging existing setups and initiating new operating models.
• Shape future network concepts, capability standards and governance for a future-ready network.
• Drive supplier and capability development roadmaps from concept through execution to close capability gaps and enable scalability.
• Own end-to-end supplier performance and governance with KPI frameworks and corrective actions.
• Support network footprint expansion and develop new supplier opportunities aligned with strategy and geography.
• Lead contracting and commercial steering to secure sustainable performance and partnerships.
• Act as cross-functional interface across Workshop Management, Technical Operations, Maintenance and Sales & Service.
• Identify operational, capacity and supply chain risks and lead transformation initiatives.
