Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) seeks an HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive HR advice and services to client directorates at its Luxembourg headquarters. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with business objectives, developing people capability, and supporting HR processes across the organization.

You will work closely with Directorate management, contribute to HR policy development, and engage with HR Centres of Expertise to deliver value-added HR services in a multinational

Qualifications

• University degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Human Resources with HR Business Partner or generalist experience.
• Experience in banking/finance, IFIs, or similar complex orgs.
• Experience with organizational change management and HR interventions.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; strong negotiation and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR advice and services aligned to clients’ objectives.
• Advise directorates on building organization and people capability.
• Shape and implement HR strategies and activities across directorates.
• Ensure HR policies and processes are applied consistently.
• Support HR cycle processes (Performance Management, Learning Needs Analysis, Talent Review).
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Expertise and other HR partners.
