Job summary

The European Investment Bank Group, headquartered in Luxembourg, is seeking a Head of Regional Development Division in the Housing, Cities and Region Department to lead the Regional Development Division across multi-sector investments.

The role involves coordinating a multidisciplinary team of economists, engineers and sector specialists, and guiding policy and operations in regional development and cohesion.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of respect, openness, accountability and integrity.
• Plan, organise, manage and control the activities of the Division.
• Select, supervise and develop staff to ensure competencies and motivation.
• Contribute to formulation and implementation of lending, advisory and policy strategies.
• Ensure quality standards for techno-economic, socio-economic, environmental and risk aspects of projects.
• Coordinate and supervise appraisal, monitoring and advisory work of the Division.
