You will own the sourcing strategy and supplier portfolio for assigned categories, contributing to cost, quality, and delivery goals across the product lifecycle.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting across locations, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure early supplier involvement in development projects.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or comparable.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or category management.
• Proven negotiation experience with direct and indirect materials.

Aufgaben

• Own and implement sourcing strategies and manage the supplier panel for the steel components categories.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting across locations.
• Achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets and initiate cost-reduction measures.
• Ensure early supplier involvement in development projects.
• Manage supplier relationships, business reviews, and escalations.
• Identify supply risks and ensure continuity of supply.
• Align purchasing strategy with product lifecycle, volume planning, and sustainability goals.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, and production teams and report KPIs to management.
