We are looking for a strategic buyer for our location in Graz

• Planning and controlling the development of material costs
• Contract initiation/design, ordering and monitoring of the ongoing business relationship with realization of market prices, quality and logistics requirements
• New supplier search/qualification/approval and supplier development
• New part request and maintenance
• Article maintenance in the ERP system (BMD NTCS)
• Implementation of projects to reduce the procurement costs of spare parts
• Disposition of the parts
• Delivery date monitoring
• Stock level monitoring and responsibility
• Further development of purchasing processes
• Cooperation with operational purchasing and technical departments

What you bring with you:

• Completed business and/or technical training (HTL/HAK high school diploma/studies)
• Relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing, preferably of technically demanding products and steel construction
• Written and spoken English for supplier correspondence and negotiations
• Good knowledge of BMD-NTCS – an advantage
• Independent, reliable and precise working style
• Loyalty and discretion
