Job summary

Beyond Now is seeking a Spring-Internship Product Owner (m/f/x) in Raaba-Grambach for 2-4 months, starting March or April 2027. You will work closely with your buddy to contribute to customer projects during software implementation, supporting backlog management, requirements collection, and design artifacts.

This role offers full-time (38.5 h/week) or part-time (minimum 20 h/week) options and aims to build a lasting professional relationship.

Qualifications

• Ongoing technical and/or business studies at HTL/FH/Uni (IT, innovation and product management, software development or similar)
• Quick comprehension and interest in learning and using cutting-edge technologies (e.g. AI)
• Excellent communication abilities in English (German beneficial)
• High initiative, reliability, determination and willingness to learn
• Good working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Proactive, reliable, organized, and able to connect with others

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful delivery of customer projects during software implementation.
• Assist in backlog management, creating and prioritizing backlog items per timelines and goals.
• Consolidate inputs (customer processes, requirements, use-cases, workshop plans) into PO artifacts (user stories, process descriptions).
• Support the Implementation Team with clarification on requirements and acceptance criteria from user stories.
• Provide ongoing monitoring of project progress and take corrective actions if deviations occur

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with your buddy, you will contribute to the successful delivery of customer projects as part of the software implementation process.

Your main task should include:

• Supporting your Product Owner peers in the collection and validation of customer requirements together with customers and development teams

• Assisting in Backlog-Management– incl. creation / prioritization of backlog items acc. to timelines and project goals

• Consolidating key input (customer processes, customer requirements, use-case analyses, product information, workshop plans) and using them to generate PO design artifacts (user stories, process descriptions, etc.).

• Support the Implementation Team with the clarification on requirements, acceptance criteria, etc. from the user stories

• Providing continuous monitoring of the project's progress, taking into account milestones set, and taking measures in case of deviations

What you bring to the role:

• Ongoing technical and/or business studies at HTL/FH/Uni (e.g, in the field of IT, innovation and product management, business informatics, software development & management, or similar)

• Quick comprehension and interest in learning and using cutting-edge technologies(e.g. AI)

• Excellent communication abilities, with proficiency in both written and verbal English (German is beneficial).

• High degree of initiative, reliability, determination, and willingness to learn

• Good working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

• A proactive and reliable approach, good organizational skills, and the ability to connect easily with others
