Job summary

Sumosan Vienna is seeking a full-time sommelier to curate and manage the wine program, including selecting wines, maintaining inventory, and ensuring proper storage and presentation. Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Sommelier practices and Wine Pairing to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Proven experience in Wine Sales and Food & Beverage service within premium or fine-dining environments.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage guests and support team training.
• Formal sommelier certification or equivalent professional training is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of international wines, sake, and beverage trends, particularly those complementing Japanese cuisine.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, professional presentation, and commitment to inclusive, respectful guest service.
• Fluency in English required; German or additional languages are an advantage.
