Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Product Development Engineer for our Research & Development team. You will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects and bringing new ideas to life.

In this role you will develop power semiconductor products for high voltage e-mobility, design SiC MOSFETs, participate in requirements gathering, and drive characterization plans and datasheet inputs.

Qualifikationen

• Master or PhD in a technical field as listed.
• At least 2 years of technical experience in semiconductor industry.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor physics and power devices, high voltage experience preferred (SiC MOSFETs, diodes, IGBTs).

Aufgaben

• Develop power semiconductor products for high voltage e-mobility applications.
• Design discrete and bare products like SiC MOSFETs electrically, mechanically and thermally.
• Contribute to product definition through requirements gathering and spec tailoring.
• Define characterization plans and derive inputs for the datasheet.
• Participate in risk assessments and FMEAs.
