Exyte is seeking a licensed professional engineer to lead planning and delivery of complex utility systems for industrial facilities in Austria. You will define engineering scope, liaise with clients, and supervise multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

The role requires a valid Austrian Gewerbeberechtigung for Heating and Ventilation, five years of PM experience, and fluency in German and English. Travel within Austria is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years of experience as a Project Manager in planning and construction of complex utility systems in industrial projects.
• Valid Austrian trade license for Heating Engineering with willingness to register in the Vienna Trade Register for Exyte.
• Excellent German and English communication; CAD and MS Office proficiency; willingness to travel.

• Lead the planning and construction of utility systems (heating, cooling, steam, plumbing, and fire protection) in industrial facilities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual designs, basic engineering, and detailed engineering packages.

Take on a key role in the planning and delivery of complex utility systems for industrial facilities. As the licensed professional responsible under Austrian trade law, you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining the required trade license and for the registration in the Vienna Trade Register on behalf of Exyte.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and construction of utility systems for industrial facilities, including heating, cooling, steam, plumbing, and fire protection (sprinkler) systems, while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including feasibility studies, conceptual designs, basic engineering, and detailed engineering packages.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure technical specifications and project objectives are successfully achieved.
• Manage external engineering partners and oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and supplier negotiations.
• Supervise the construction phase to ensure all utility systems are implemented in accordance with the approved design and project requirements.

Show Your Expertise

• Completed technical education as a certified technician, master craftsman, or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Heating Engineering, Ventilation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Valid Austrian trade license (Gewerbeberechtigung) for Heating Engineering in conjunction with Ventilation Engineering, and willingness to be registered in the Vienna Trade Register on behalf of Exyte as the licensed professional responsible for the business.
• Qualification examination for Engineering Offices (Ingenieurbüros) is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Project Manager in the planning and construction of complex utility systems within industrial projects.
• Previous project experience in Austria is required.
• Excellent German and English communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary project teams.
