Infineon Technologies in Austria seeks a Senior Staff Engineer for Technology Development LV Power MOSFETs in our R&D team. You will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape the future of power semiconductor technology and drive groundbreaking projects.

You’ll work on metallization and passivation integration, process flow, and collaboration with back-end sites. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. The role offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or comparable.
• 5+ years in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and MOSFET behavior.

Aufgaben

• Enable new low voltage Power MOSFET technologies to be ready for production with main focus on metallization and passivation integration and chip package interaction
• Define and request single process developments and take care of the integration aspect in the process flow
• Support and interface to process development, metrology and chip assembly at Back End sites
• Support design changes over product lifetime and for new derivative product definitions
• Opportunity to take over project management responsibilities for small projects which includes running individual work packages and giving guidance to team members for work package execution

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A university degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or comparable
• 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor industry
• Sound knowledge in semiconductor process technology and materials, semiconductor physics and MOSFET electrical behavior as a must
• Experience with wafer thinning, packaging and separation as an advantage
• Fluent English skills required, advanced German skills are desired

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
