Bitpanda is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to stay ahead of threats by building detection capabilities and strengthening our security posture. You will drive automation, lead incident response, and collaborate across teams to embed security into our platform.

You will mentor engineers, improve cloud security in AWS, and help ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS and DORA while supporting a resilient security program for Bitpanda.

Aufgaben

• Own the strategy and quality of detection library in Elastic Security (ES|QL/KQL), mapping detections to attacker techniques while reducing noise.
• Lead investigations into security incidents and threat hunting across AWS, Elastic and Datadog, refining response playbooks.
• Design and implement automated investigation, enrichment and response workflows using SOAR, APIs and custom tooling.
• Improve cloud security monitoring, system hardening and security tooling across AWS; support ISO 27001, PCI DSS and DORA compliance.
• Act as a technical leader within Security, mentor engineers and champion security best practices.
• Participate in a weekly rotating on-call schedule with the team.
